Investment Practice Overview
Our office is specialized in business law and provide services, advice
and legal opinions, particularly in the field of business affairs and
establishment of projects under Egyptian laws being in force.
We have helped in the establishment of several projects, undertaken
by international companies in the country under the provisions of Egyptian
Investment Law. Also, we advised Egyptian investors living abroad and
investors from Arab and foreign countries to invest in Egypt.
The principal activities carried out by our office are:
1. Giving advice to investors .
2. Preparing so-called economic studies and preliminary studies .
3. Obtaining and gathering documents and information needed during the
pre-establishment period .
4. Providing investors with full knowledge of law, regulations, circumstances,
conditions and other matters which may have an impact upon their prospective
projects .
5. Carrying out all formalities needed to obtain the required permits
and approvals for the establishment of the investment project in accordance
with the wishes of the concerned investors .
6. Drawing up articles of association and/or other documents needed
for the establishment of the project in addition to the required permits
and approvals having first been obtained .
7. Registering such documents at the District Court, the Commercial
Registry, and the concerned Chambers of Commerce and/or Industry .
8. To help in solving all problems which may arise during the commissioning
phase and also during the operation phase, in removing any obstacles
to the smooth running of the company, and in settling any disputes either
amicably or by arbitration or through the courts of law having jurisdiction
.
9. To give advice, opinions and studies concerning financial and tax
matters, to follow up such matters with concerned authorities .
